Michael L. Weaver is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of CTG Power Systems Intnl., LLC and its affiliate, CTG Grid Solutions LLC, headquartered in Tampa, Florida. With more than 30 years of executive leadership experience, Mr. Weaver has built a distinguished career leading complex organizations across the global energy, engineering, manufacturing, and facility management sectors.
As the founding CEO of CTG, Mr. Weaver transformed a startup venture into a $250+ million international energy services enterprise, serving utility, industrial, and governmental clients throughout the Americas and Middle East. Under his direction, CTG evolved into a diversified platform of companies delivering engineered energy solutions, including EPCM services, project financing, and the supply of new and reconditioned power generation equipment up to 300MW. His business philosophy emphasizes customer-focused solutions, operational integrity, and sustained value creation through continuous improvement and LEAN execution.
Throughout his career, Mr. Weaver has developed and managed large-scale engineering and procurement operations, international sales channels, and cross-functional teams. His leadership has spanned energy infrastructure, gas and diesel turbine technologies, renewable systems, microgrids, and heavy industrial refurbishment programs. Prior to CTG, he founded and led Facility Management Associates, LLC, providing integrated facility services to Fortune 500 clients, including Xerox Corporation.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Weaver served as Deputy Director at the Center for Dispute Settlement, one of the nation’s pioneering alternative dispute resolution (ADR) organizations, where he played a key role in the expansion of mediation and arbitration programs across the USA and helped establish the Rochester Civilian Review Board.
Mr. Weaver holds a Bachelor of Science degree with honors from Rochester Institute of Technology and an A.A.S. in Law Enforcement from Monroe Community College. He has also completed professional certification in arbitration through the American Arbitration Association. His public service includes several appointments to the U.S. Commerce Department’s Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Advisory Committee and multiple nonprofit boards.
Based in Tampa, Mr. Weaver remains active in professional and civic life and enjoys golf, boating, and culinary pursuits.
