Overview

CTG Power Systems is offering one (1) surplus three-phase, 60 Hz substation power transformer with on-load tap changer. It was built in December 1993 by Cooper Power Systems (McGraw-Edison) in the United States and is available now in Florida, near Tampa.

The unit is rated 15/20/25 MVA at 55 °C and 16.8/22.4/28 MVA at 65 °C, OA/FA/FA. It steps 69 kV delta down to 24.94 GrdY/14.4 kV, with a McGraw-Edison on-load tap changer on the low-voltage side and copper windings throughout. Per the owner, the transformer was removed from utility service about two years ago for a capacity upgrade.

It is a good fit for OEMs, transformer service shops, and utilities that want a proven core-and-coil platform for refurbishment, remanufacture, or a system spare.

Condition: Surplus, decommissioned from service. Sold as-is, where-is, without warranty.
