CTG Power Systems Intnl., LLC offers for sale two (2) Hitachi H-25 gas turbine generator sets removed from a decommissioned host plant. Each unit is rated 32,700 kW (ISO) in open simple-cycle configuration, firing natural gas, and is paired with a BRUSH 36,334 kVA, 13.8 kV, 60 Hz, 0.90 PF synchronous generator. Combined nameplate output for the pair is 65.4 MW (ISO).

Both units were manufactured in 2012, commissioned in 2014, and operated on natural gas until the host plant was shut down in an orderly manner in 2023. Recorded operating hours are approximately 21,000 per unit, well short of the first major inspection interval on a typical natural-gas duty cycle.

The H-25 is a single-shaft, 17-stage axial-compressor machine deployed worldwide in industrial cogeneration and simple-cycle peaking service. The product line is now supported by Mitsubishi Power. These are 60 Hz machines, which matters for U.S. deployment where most available pre-owned heavy-frame turbines are 50 Hz.

Each set is complete with generator, BRUSH brushless exciter, CACA-3 air-cooled generator cooler (3 motors), and a Hitachi excitation control panel with automatic voltage regulator (AVR) and automatic synchronizer (ASS). Turbine control system, package auxiliaries, lube-oil system, starting system, inlet air filtration, and exhaust components are included as installed at the host site, with inventory to be confirmed on inspection.

The units suit behind-the-meter, bridge, and baseload applications needing 30 to 65 MW of dispatchable natural-gas generation. The 554 °C exhaust temperature also supports heat recovery in combined-cycle or cogeneration configurations. Rated at 25 ppm NOx (dry, corrected to 16% O₂), the turbines support permitting in many U.S. jurisdictions under 40 CFR Part 60 Subpart KKKK, as-is or with SCR where a lower limit applies.
