History:
In response to an energy deficit in the region several years ago, company had established two reserve power plants. The plant was never called into service. A new transmission line finalized in 2016 solved the energy deficit. The need for reserve power is no longer present. Company has decommissioned the plants and CTG is now initiating a sales process on behalf of the ownership. The plant is in excellent functional and physical condition.

The Plant was delivered and maintained by PW Power Systems (PWPS - formerly Pratt & Whitney ®) a subsidiary of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Ltd. (MHI), and had provided emergency power capacity since 2008, but had only operated for less than four hundred hours - for maintenance purposes – only.
