Michael L. Weaver, Founder of CTG, Named Chairman and CEO - Odessa, FL (July 14, 2008)
CTG is pleased to announce that Mr. Michael L. Weaver has been named Chairman and CEO for The Camelot Technologies Group, Inc. and all of its subsidiaries.
Mr. Weaver founded The Camelot Technologies Group, Inc. in 1996 and has watched his vision grow to more than eleven professional staff members and a thriving multifaceted corporation offering a unique diversity of power generation products and services to clients around the globe. Mr. Weaver's keen insight, ability to meet challenges and the application of sound fundamental business practices, has enabled CTG to experience a steady pattern of vertical growth over the last 12 years. CTG's continuing expansion into new lines of power generation equipment and ancillary support services has served to propagate the formation of ten (10) unique subsidiaries that were formed between 2001 and 2008.
Mr. Weaver contributes more than twenty years of executive level management experience to the management of the CTG family of companies. He will have overall responsibility for setting the Company's strategic direction and the continued development and maintenance of effective strategic relationships with key stakeholders, funders, contract counterparties, customers and partners.
Mr. Weaver will focus on cultivating a wide range of relationships and networks within the local, national and international energy and financial community to position CTG as a major service provider throughout the industry.
He will continue to carry on his executive fiduciary responsibilities while driving company growth and offering strategic support to the Company's new President and Senior Level Managers. His duties will also include responsibility for increasingly complex and time-consuming corporate governance and contractual matters. In addition, Mr. Weaver will use his energy industry expertise and leverage his reputation to help with the overall creative and policy implementation process led by the new President, Mr. Jack Michael ("Mike") Powell.
